Delivery of Life-Saving Protective Equipment, Thanks to You!
The impact of the coronavirus has been felt worldwide and in the 40 villages that you have helped to support over the past 5 years the impacts are also being felt.
Thanks to your generosity, these families are better equipped to face this pandemic and we wanted to share with you their words of gratitude and thanks.
Norlan – Las Ceibas
“Thanks to CEPAD, I am able to grow what I eat, so I can save some money. And I use organic products so I don’t have to buy chemicals.”
Gernan – Diragen
“CEPAD’s support has been a constant for us. We’ve received trainings and workshops so we’re able to manage hard situations like this well. As I mentioned before, keeping everyone calm. We’ve been through trainings that have taught us about health and food security; how to care for crops so that we can eat healthy.”
Maria – Las Delicias
“We make good use of the resources we have as a family through good administration…the knowledge that we have obtained [from CEPAD] has helped us to face the needs that have been presented and especially in the face of this situation that is so grave for all of us.”
Lester – La Uva
“I’m so thankful for your support, for the masks, for these small expressions of love. We’re so thankful. Honestly, we didn’t have access to buy these things since we’re so far out. We’ve tried to just always distance ourselves from others, from other communities and towns. But yes, now thanks to you, we have masks, and won’t have to use our little bit of money to buy them. Thankfully you are here supporting us with these. We’re so thankful.”
Migdalia – La Chorrera
“Thank you for everything, whether it’s a lot or a little, we feel so thankful. Thank you! You can find masks to buy, but they are expensive and hard to get. You know, without work, it takes a lot to go out and buy them. People want to wear them, but they’re hard to get. The same with disinfectants, all of it. You can get it, but it’s difficult. We’re so thankful to everyone.”
