How to Support CEPAD Without Giving a Dime

As a nonprofit, CEPAD finds our funding through grants and generous donors. We are always looking for ways to meet our financial goals, but we also understand that sometimes, our supporters aren’t in a position to give financially at the moment. However, there are so many ways to support CEPAD without giving a dime. Here are just a few ideas:

  • Like our Facebook page and share posts that you’re passionate about. Social media is a powerful way to connect with others and share what you’re passionate about.
  • Be a vocal advocate. Share about CEPAD with your friends, family, workplace, church, etc. Those who care about you, will often be interested in what you care about.
  • Hold a fundraiser. Host a bake sale, car wash, or silent auction to support a specific program.
  • Donate a holiday. Instead of making a wish list for Christmas or your birthday, ask loved ones to instead donate to CEPAD. It’s the gift that keeps on giving!
  • Join CEPAD USA’s board. You can contact our CEPAD USA Development Director, Emily Hewes.
  • Visit CEPAD! Organize a delegation or write us about pursuing an individual volunteer opportunity.
  • Send us your testimony of an experience visiting CEPAD. Send us your photos and stories – we’d love to share them with others who are interested in coming!
  • Pray! We are strong believers in the power of prayer. Surround our staff and the communities we work with in prayer as we work together towards a better future for rural Nicaraguans.

What else can you add to the list? We’d love to share it with others!
