Our Staff – Gilberto Aguirre
We want you to meet our staff! Though you may know some of them, or have met them if you’ve visited, we want to share more about them and what they do for CEPAD.
Gilberto Aguirre, more well known around the office as “Profe”, has worked with CEPAD since the beginning, for 47 years. As our Development Director, he supervises the Nehemías Center, RadioCEPAD, and CEPANA (our agro-tourism farm in Matagalpa) along with attending meetings, preparing reports for the Executive Director, and assisting people looking for more information on CEPAD.
Profe’s favorite part about his job is getting to visit and see some of the projects in the communities we work with and being in contact with them. He also enjoys meeting our delegations, and often times, provides a brief orientation of cultural context for them.
He is passionate about CEPAD’s mission and enjoys sharing in that mission with supporters. “You are a blessing from God. You have understood that we are the body of Christ. Different, but one in Christ.”
Thank you, Profe, for your guidance, commitment, and passion for CEPAD and our mission!
