Celebrate With Us!
What started out as representatives from eight different denominations coming together under the shade of a mango tree to help rebuild Nicaragua after a devastating earthquake, has now become:
- The first NGO with legal status in Nicaragua.
- A Counsel made up of 19 denominations and 6 pastoral committees.
- A nationally and internationally supported organization working in sustainable community development.
- The agent of change for over 4,000 communities and 2.5 million people that have received workshops and assistance.
Little did CEPAD’s founders know what it would grow into and the impact it would have.
Thanks to generous donors, hardworking staff, and, most importantly, God, CEPAD is able to celebrate our 50th anniversary! We are hoping you’ll join us for the many celebrations that will take place.
While we are not able to gather in large groups or welcome you all to Nicaragua as we would hope, there will be many opportunities for you to celebrate with us virtually.
- February 24, 2022 Inaugural Church Service
- April and July 2022 Two forums in Nicaraguan universities to share about CEPAD’s ministry, history, and future plans
- October 14-21, 2022 Dr. Gustavo Parajón conference put on by U.S. theologian Dr. Stanley Slade
- Two virtual International Encounters, one with our friends from Europe and one for those in the U.S.
- March 2, 2023 – Closing Church Service
If you would like to give specifically towards the 50th anniversary, please put “50th Anniversary” in the comment.
